Update
As i figure no one actually looks at this anyway I'm pretty much free to say what i want here.
Getting fired/quitting from Minacs (OnStar) has a disturbing blow, and it sucked royally. Never in my 23 years have i ever been asked to leave work and not come back. Mind you there been times where i should have gotten fired like my last year working at Caton's for my only example. I wouldn't have been surprised to be asked to leave then.
But what gets me is worked my butt off at Minacs and you know what they told me the reason i wasn't cut out for the work was. "I'm Not Pushie Enough" word for word.
yeah cause I'm going to change who I've been for 23 years just so i can stay at a job that paid $10.50/hr. good money to me, but not good enough that I'll change myself for them. then again i don't think any amount of money would have done that.
so now I'm back to square 1 looking for work, do you know how hard it is after working for $10.50/hr and trying to get work for $7.50/hr? (or whatever the minum wage is now) What sucks the most is in 3 days of working at minacs with just $10/hr i made more then what i made working 2 WEEKS at Value village! THREE days compared to 2 WEEKS! its not even fair. I have experance in a call center enviorment but now it doesnt do me any good, b/c everywhere else i've looked whats at least 1 year exerance.
Lee and i were on the bus a few weeks ago and i over heard this couple talking, they were working at Tim Hortons and one of them was saying he'd ben working there for 5 years and hes making $7.75/hr. FIVE years people, and only making $7.75/hr. and the person above him had worked there for 10 years you wanna guess who much they are making? Only $9 bucks! You've got to be kidding me! I was only working at Minacs for one week at the time and i was making more then both of them.
But now I'm down to whatever job i can get is good again. I know what I'm missing out but it doesn't do me any good. So i went around a few days ago looking for work, haven't had any call back (no surprise there) life's pretty meaning less lately and it sucks.
So anyway while i was working at Minacs, I worked on the OnStar champagne I'm not sure who knows what that but its in some cars, trucks and vans, basically its 3 buttons, and they help you out, I'm not actually supost to say much about it b/c Fords trying to do the same thing in their cars, so I'd get "fired" if I gave any information out, but since that already happened I'm not sure what would happen. but anyway getting off topic, as i was working for them i realized that there are quite a few odd names in America (that who we worked for) and i'd like to shair a few of them with you:: but first my favorite American name Mr Canada!
Mr Loop

so there you have the funny names i picked up over my month and week of working at minacs there was one more but it was a bit crude and as real as it was it wasnt something want to put here no mater if no one reads this or not.
I made two pretty good friend while working at minacs I'm not over surprised that once i stopped working there i wouldn't hear from them again. it was one of those work related friends, which was fine for me , b/c i figured i'd be working there until we moved again. So now I'm not only jobless but friendless again as well. so that sucks too. No real surprise though, life goes on, weather I'm ready for it to or not.
so this is me for today I guess, take it how you like, i hope your life is more interesting then mine.
