Moving
so as it turns out we may be moving a day early which is fine with me. I got contacted by the U-haul people today and they dont have the ssize that we asked for (14') so they up graded it (24') so i dont think we're going to have to have any kind of skill packing upi the thing.Lee will be driving, Lee's fish will but up front with us as well as Treepy, me and Ryan. That should be a fun trip up? for thoes of you who know me you can tell how "thrilled" i am about that situaltion.
when we get into Halifax most likely Tuesday evening we'll just unpack our mattresses and thats it, then Wednesday we'll unpack everything else. Then on Thursday we'll travel to Amherst by Train spend a while there and at Lee's cottage. It will be nice to spend some alone time with Lee. And the Cottage is really relaxing so thats helps.We should be back in Halifax on Sunday so that Lee will be able to go to work for Monday. I'll apply to work at the call center and hopefully work shortly after. I so need to get back to work, Its not as fun as you think just sitting around everyday trying to entertaining yourself. not fun at all. so i guess the next time I'll be writing here I'll be in Halifax enjoying my Free wireless internet complements of our new apartment :) yeah!
Lee's birthday
So Lee's birthday was yesterday, and he had to work, no big deal, but he didn't leave at his normal time he stay at home until 9 and then went to work, he woke me up so we could hang out, mind you I was in no mood to hang out I had stayed up most of the night reading. But he left at 9 so I went back to bed. At around 5:30, Lee calls and tells me "everyone" from work are taking him out for super and I should call a taxi. Also mind you I had only 5 dollars (in loonies for the wash) and a bunch of pennies and nickels. So I ending up robbing the piggy bank to get the money for the taxi. No biggy the taxi guy was nice and we had a nice little chat on the way to Smitties (why I'm not sure b/c Lee doesn't like the place).
So I get there and everyone is already there, and they've decided to get the bouffe. That's fine too , they had salads and pastas, I personaly thought the lasagna was really good.
Lets start off this supper with the salad incident, okay i didnt want any salad so i went stright to the Lasagna, then one of Lee's Boss's finds a lady bug in his salad bowl. A Lady bug, you'd never think that would be the topic of conversation for the rest of the evening. It was a bit much, here we are out in public, and one of Lee's boss' is complaining about either the food doesnt taste good, the bread is too sweet. And the other boss' girlfriend is complaining about mold on her fruit(which was actually dried whip cream) Give Me a Break! It was a bit much. i mean come on we're out in public, theres a polite way to act, and that wasnt it.
oh well we ending up eating our meal and leaving and coming home. on the way though we go through the park and theres ducks on the pond, and i wanted to feed tem of course when ever i wanna feed them i have no bread or anything with me. So ten Lee and Ryan thinks it funny to throw in some rock (NOT hitting the ducks) and then the ducks from far away think we're feeding them so more and more come over. jerk bags. I wanted to feed them and their just teasing them. so after a while we left and finaly did come home. Lee and Ryan watch some Ren and Stimpy lost episodes, and i played my Nancy Drew game.
so that was yesterday, now today, i heard eary in the moring when Lee wandered out of into the living room and asked Ryan if he was going to work. Ryan thought today was Saturday and was sitting playing Halo. So they left on time anyway, and i'm sitting here now typing here, sorta talking to Lee when he's not working and trying to get frid of my runny nose. I dont know whats got be going but its lasted for 3 days now and it stinks.
We finaly have a moving date, next wednesday YEA! Lee and i will be packing this wekend calling the U-haul place thsi monday coming and shippping out of here. yea!
we're going to spend a few days at lee's cottage, then visit people then go back to halifax, intime for Lee to work.
Birthday and Anniversary
Well on Saturday (my birthday) Lee and I got an unexpected call from my parents. It was a surprise but I was super happy they called. This is the first birthday I've had, that they weren't around for. so I was super happy they called, make it seem they were a little closer then they actually are.
So Lee and I went out for lunch to Boston Pizza then we were going to see a movie but it started at 3 at at the time it was only 1:15, so went and played bowling We tied the first round, but then the 2nd time i some how won yeah for me. :) Lee was trying so he didnt just let me win, so winning was even more better. haha
After we went bowling we saw the movie The Ant Bully. it was alright, i liked it well enough, i wont go out and buy when it comes out but it was good. and lee liked it which was nice considering i had to "drag" him to come see it.
after the movie we went to the park and feed some ducks, until it got late and then we went back home. so all in all it was an eventful day and on the 20th we didn't do anything but laze around, b/c we did everything the day before, i wanted to go feed the ducks again but my butt was hurting to much to walk anywhere, I did to much walking the day before, so but butt muscles were hurting haha, oh well.
Lee and I are supost to be moving Sydney soon, thank goodness, I'm so tired of living here. so i have to pack without help it seems, and do people dishes as I'm sure you get bet how thrilled I am about that. oh the excitement of moving. I should get some kind of award for moving so much. this is a bit much, don't you think? oh well maybe we'll stay in Halifax for at least 6 month like last time. one can only hope.
Weekend
This weekend was pretty uneventful, on Friday Lee game me an early birthday present 
this moon chair. it has hiddle speekers, lee didnt know this when he bought it for me. But you can hook it up to a CD player or a MP3 player and just listen to it from your chair. neat hu? so this is my birthday pressent early, mainly b/c Lee didnt have a place to hide it. oh an dthe chair i got is blue.
I still don't know what I'm going to get Lee for his birthday he said he wants nothing, but i cant do that, yet i have no idea what to get him.
Our first year Anniversary is this next Sunday not sure what we're going to do for that either. I suggested dinner but there isn't much else to do here in Sydney so that really stinks. I wanted to go to Lee's cottage, but we wont be able to to that until the last week of August. :(
I did a ton of laundry yesterday got everything all clean so its ready to be packed up and moved, Lee and Ryan are supost to get boxes sometime this week so I can start packing oh the joys. Lee and were suppost to get a new bed. on of these infaltable ones. sence we move a lot I fuguered it would be a good to get a bed that moves just as easy with us. we can take it out blow it up and sleep on it. instead of sleeping on a bunch of cloths b/c we're too tired to unpack everything trying to get to the bed. sad but true. we didn't end up getting it for some reason, but soon i hope. As far as i know we'll be moving soon, so I'm excited about that b/c I dont really wanna be here anymore that I have to. Lee and Ryan are already coming up with plans to do once they get back to Halifax. I personally just want to be back. Have somewhat of a life, go back to work, have friends again. Its been such boring life here in Sydney and i get to do it all again next summer, yeah. I better find a job next summer or I'll go mad!
so this is my update, I'll have to remember to do it more often
