Cleaning

I didn't work today but that didn't stop lee from asking me to drive him to work at 9:30 in the morning. A well, so much for sleeping in. like that will happen with Lee working down town. There's never anyplace to park. stinkin' place. oh well, i drove to come home then decided to stop at the store and pick up some milk, cookies, garbage bags, and oh yea some 99cents chocolate milk :) yummy :)

I ended up cleaning the living room today, took most of the day, why we let the junk pile up is beyond me. 4 garbage bags full, and vacuumed. and its really open and clean now :) i feel like i actually accomplished something today :) yea for me

Long Day

What a day! I went into work knowing full well that the cash printer wasn't going to work, and the tech support people were so useless for most of the day, and when they were useful they took over my computer system for 1/2 an hour, which ended up making a little fat kid cry b/c she couldn't get her "toys".

It was such a long day, and i wasn't able to go anywhere, do anything but sit near the cash and help customers. I did however give someone an interview, and hired her today, she starts on Thursday to cover Kayla's shifts witch is going to be nice. Her name is Abigail (i love that name) and she seems very nice. so i look forward to working with her.

so aside from not be able to go very far or going on brakes of any kind, it was an ok day i guess, oh no wait if forgot to tell you that, for lunch i had a sandwich from yesterdays, and as i guessed what would happen happened, sand got everywhere and in the sandwiches. so i couldn't at eat the sandwich. so i ate only two granola bars and some chips.

Lee's birthday

Today is Lee's 25th birthday, and we went to the beach with Ryan, Anne-Marie, Geoff and of course Lee. We had a picnic lunch, which was yummy. It was really windy so of course i was freezing, wrapped in a towel and if i had have had a sweater i would have been wearing it. everyone at one time went into the water, i thought they were crazy. I'll put some videos up later--maybe.

We went from 12-5, lee got a red face, and got burned on the top of his feet, we're not sure how that happened when he was in the water all day. Ryan got his arms and face burned, I got the back of my knee burned (the only place on my legs i didn't put sun lotion), and i almost got a burned on my belly but didn't stay in the sun long enough.

when we got home i got to find out that tomorrow i get to work all by myself all over again, b/c Nadean who was supost to work had school stuff to do and cant come in and couldn't get a hold of Kim to take her place. and on top of working on my own, the cash register wont open and the printer isn't working. its going to be a long day tomorrow. Good thing i only have to work 6 1/2 hours. oh and i have an interview with some girl at 10 tomorrow. that should be interesting. Lee wants me to ask her what kinda tree she'd be, i don't think i will thats kinda stupid. I'll let you know how it goes.

Work, Birthday and Anniversary

So i get into work on Monday and Melissa is working away, i say "good morning" then she started to brake down crying. as it turns out she and her boyfriend broke up over the weekend and when she got into work there was a "nastie" letter from the head manager of our area. just telling that she can have two weekend off in a row, nothing nastie but add that to her brake up i guess she just snapped. and so when i came in when i did she gave me her keys and walked out. I had just assumed she was taking the day off b/c she had been crying but later i realized that she had quit. Leaving me in the store by myself. And I was only in my 2nd week of working there, so i have no idea what I'm doing yet. and still don't really, i haven't even been fully trained yet. so the rest of Monday i sat down (which were not actually allowed to do)and only got up to help customers.

Tuesday I had to open the store(which was actually Melissa's shift) and i ended up calling another girl in to be with me that day so i wouldn't have to work alone all day again. But of course their of us knew what we were doing b/c she was only hired 2 days before i was. The head manager came in and showed us what we needed to do and we did that.

This day of work was actually my birthday, so i worked 9:30-6 on my birthday, Lee and Andrew(I will mention him later) picked me up from work, we went to Quizno's, had a sub and then went home, Lee had bought an ice cream cake. Anne-Marie made me a picture of a kitty, and Geoff gave me a 60 day WOW card and a $15 card from Laura Secord. Mom and Dad's and Nanny's presents are at Mom and dad's house, I get them when Lee and i go to the Balloon Fiesta which I'm looking forward to :) Visiting my parent, seeing the Balloon Fiesta again, and getting presents (in that order). Lee didn't get me a present or card but said he has something planed for the first weekend i have off from work which who knows when that will happen with all thats going on with work. oh yea and Dwayne forgot my birthday.

Our Anniversary was just about as "special" as my birthday which wasn't at all by the way. we didn't do anything we wouldn't do on a normal day. I did how ever get a lovely card from lee along with a pink rose. Which was nice.

Ok now about Andrew, he's Lee's friend,(he's the one with the short tie in the wedding party pictures) I don't hate the guy but he sure isn't one of my favorite people either, Lee asked if he could come for a visit I had assumed it was just going to be for the weekend, but instead Andrew decides he going to stay longer, he came on Friday and left today, (a whole week) and in that whole week the guy never had a shower, and i think he forgot o pack his deodorant, b/c after the 3 day the guy was starting to smell and it only got worse as time went on. And its not like we could say anything to him without being mean. we figured he'd have a shower on his own, i mean he is 25 after all, he should know when to have a shower on his own without someone telling him he should have one. the whole week we had to keep the window open in the living room where he slept, and open the car windows when he went anywhere with us, b/c he smelled so bad. a few times we made comments about the apartment smelling and those few times our friend Geoff was over and he blamed his gym bag, so it let Andrew off the hook. I feel bad for the poor sucker that had to sit next to Andrew on the way back to Saint John.

I know when i do something nice I'm not supost to except anything in return, it would be nice but not expected. well I'm a little upset, I've been sending out birthday/anniversary cards to people in my family all year and when my birthday and anniversary comes around i thought i'd get cards from those people i sent cards but but no, not one. its a bit upsetting. So i think if thats the same outcome at Christmas, I'm going to stop sending cards to everyone and just send them to my parents, Dwayne,Christin,Noelle, Lee, and his family, and everyone else can stick it

so thats been all the events in the last few days. tonight i have some market reacher thing I'm going to, their paying me $75 just to give my opinion, which works just fine with me, and then after that Lee has some work party that we're going to. should be interesting, I'm not the party type but lee wants me to meet the people he works with and that will be nice i guess.

Ardene

Well is now Tuesday night, I've worked at Ardene's for 4 days, the first two were REALLY long days, i literary stood for 8 1/2 hours straight, after the first two days i was ready to call it quits, my back was sore, my feet were sore from standing all day, and it just didn't seem worth it.
now into my 4th day i feel a little different, I'm not as sore as i as the other days, but then again I've had shorter shifts so instead of standing for 8 1/2 I'm standing for 5 1/2 not sure if that the reason I'm not sore but we'll find out on Thursday when i have another 9 hour shift, and we'll see how i feel then.

aside from how i feel now I'm still looking into trying to get another animation clean up job, I mean i enjoy what I'm doing now.. for now, but clean-up for animation is fun for me, and its something i really enjoy doing, it helps that the pay is really good too. but working where i am is more stable, i mean clean-up work with come and go with contracts but i know my jb with always be there unless they fire me for some reason.

Oh thats another thing they'll fire you if you sit down, have sneakers on (you have to wear dress shoes or high heels) i have to wear makeup (which i don't normally do). its almost like they try to come up with way to make you leave or fire you for something stupid.

I'm not looking forward to working alone, and I'm looking forward to dealing with angry customers when i tell them i cant give them refunds or they cant exchange their items if they change their minds.

today some lady got mad at me b/c i wouldn't give her US money when she had given me her US money. it not like we keep every kind of money in our till.

oh yes our till thats another thing if for whatever reason its short, we have to make it even from our own pockets. which i don't think is fair.

that my rant about work for today :)

New job and update

first off, i have no idea who my Anonymous visitor is, I'm not even sure how i would know. :) but regardless you give me a reason to update my blog. ya! Someone actually reads my ramblings haha :)

so lets see as you know I've been working at Empire theaters, and sadly it wasn't as fun as i remembered it to be. Since I'd been back I'd be on the look out for better work, and last week i found just that. I'm now a assistant manager at Ardene, you may or not know but its one of those girlie accessory stores. I'm looking forward to working there. My last day of work at the theater is Tuesdays, and my first day at Ardene's is Friday. Its going to be nice going from just a worker to a managers position just b/c i can work full time :) haha sweet :)

lets see what is happening, Lee has another football game tomorrow agents the Mocton team should be an interesting game. if they can beat the Saint John team who's all pretty much on steroids then they can handle the Mocton team.oh and Lee and I visited dad at his army base in Freddy. we got lost, we drove in the wrong direction for 45 min then got lost trying to find dad's area, and ended up getting there at like 12am and so we could only stay for an hour instead of longer as i wanted.(long story) but dad took a nice picture of lee and I. I liked it anyway :)

um i think thats about it, my life isn't that exciting, but its my life and i love it :)
