Games

Since i haven't been working theres not much to do to take up my time, so I've been playing games. recently we borrowed a few games both of which I've beaten.



fairly entertain, i like rolling up balls of anything in sight, i didn't like the time limits but after beating it you get to play one level where nothing is timed so that was nice



Mass effect I've beaten twice already and will probably beat a few more times before i get bored of it, its kinda like a choose your own adventure which i my kinda game, plus you can get character that look something like yourself, you can choose to be either good or evil. I haven't got bad yet, and i haven't made too many people fall in love with me. Good game though, and theres another part to it out, but as I've gathered to can only get it through Xbox live so I'll have to get Lee to check that out for me when he gets home, b/c i don't have a LIVE account.



so far thats all the games i've beaten so far, I've almost beaten a game called Over Lord, but keep getting stuck in an area and getting annoyed so i haven't played that one in a while. but its a good game i enjoy having little minions taking my orders and killing everything for me, is really funny to when you destroy a pumpkin patch they put the pumpkins on their heads as helmets, its pretty funny. they also take anything they can get to get them self better for fighting off the dead guys, also a little funny. maybe i will try to beat that one today, just for something else to do.



i guess thats all for now, i haven't bothered playing any of the other games yet, i'll get around to it though at some point, I still have to knit mom her scarf, so i can find thing to do besides play games but its more fun.

income tax return and such

I got my income tax return yesterday and Lee and i bought ourself a 32inch flat screen HD TV, along with the Stand, very nice deals if i may say so myself :) since it was my income tax return lee's "allowing" me to have $100 to spend on myself so this weekend I'll go cloths shopping, and V&V(Value Village) i let to get alot of stuff with my "hard earned money" :) i was thinking I'd try to wear more skirts this summer and maybe wear heels but i don't know if that will go very far, the heels i mean, considering I've never really warn them. Oh i got a few new chick flicks, a nice addition to Lee and I's massive collection of DVDs. We could pretty much run our own rental store from our own living room, course we wont but Wavey and Steven come over and "rent" our movies every once and a while. :)their good at not getting any late fees haha.
Lee's been enjoying playing alot of Halo on the the new TV,and so far I've just watched my movies i got yesterday.

What a Girl Wants

Lee and i also got two movie the other night as well Juno and Shaun of the Dead, Juno was funny interesting but funny, you know teen pregnancy and all is a little messed up but i loved the character, the actress did a good job playing her. And Shaun of the dead haven't watched yet, cause lee keeps getting distracted with games or buy a TV to get around to watching it. He's also supost to strike my hair, also hasn't happened yet.

Lets see what else... Treep attacked me the other night. not on purpose I'm sure, I was sleeping and Treep was going crazy running around you know how weird cards get weird, anyways he tried jumping on the bed but i was too close to the edge and so he got is back paws on the bed not realizing i was right there and couldn't get his front paws on, he "grabbed" my back and pretty much dug his claws into my back and slid off the bed. yea I woke up with quite a start, hurt like crazy too. I still have the claw marks and the "holes" where his claws got me. The next day he was sucking up to me all day, figured he felt sorry so he was making sure I wasn't mad at him. :)

Home for the weekend

After 4 long months i got to go home for the weekend, we left at 6ish and arrived at Mom and Dad's at 10-10:30 i cant remember, they were happy to see us, gave us big ol' hugs. we stayed up and talked for a little while, dad went to bed and mom stayed up till 12 talk to Lee and I.

Saturday we got up at 10am Mom and I went to Walmart bought some yarn, b/c she wants me to knit her a scarf she got some really nice colors too. yellow,green and pink but the shade would fit nicely in a baby's room so you can get the idea of how light the shade is. Its going to be really pretty when I'm done. I want to have it done in time for mothers day next month. She wont actually need to wear it until it gets cold again but it will be a nice present. I decided i wont sent the scarf and hat to Noelle b/c she really wont need it, so it was just me practicing to seeing if i actually could make a hat.

in the afternoon after Lee tought dad some stuff with Photoshop we went bowling, i didn't win any of the games but i came close to beating dad some of the times. we played 3 games, mom didn't play the last game. Here are the ending scores:
first game was:
Heidi: 78
Lee: 61
Dad: 91
Mom: 76

Dad and i were really close in score for most of the game, he's get a spare I'd get one too, but then he got 4 spares all together and i only got one so that helped him quite i bit, but it was close.

second game:
Dad: 115
Heidi: 80
Mom: 78
Lee: 56

Dad got a strike and 3 spares and i only got one spare at the end so there was no way to check up. When he broke 100 i was at 73 on the 9th round.

Last game:
Dad: 93
Heidi: 86
Lee: 73

This was a close one between Lee and I, Lee was beating me most of the game b/c he had gotten himself a spare. we'd both gotten one at the start, me first which put me in the lead then he got one and got ahead of me for most of the game until i got a spare at the very end just in time to beat Lee. Not able to beat dad, but beating Lee is just as good. he gave me a run for my money, Lee did. :)

for supper we drove way out in the middle of no were to get to Adair's Wilderness Lodge, nice place it just takes forever to get out there and the road stops being paved most of the way out there so we were going over all kinds of bumps, the car got really dirty, and gross, i was glad it wasn't our car that got that dirty. we all had hot turkey sandwiches and they were yummy.

Sunday we went to Penobsquis Baptist Church, the church that Jordan MacKenzie's dad's the pastor. Jordan wasn't there which wasn't a surprise, I'm not even sure I'd recognize him even if he would have been there. His mom told me he's getting married this August to a Heather Carheart( i think that was her name), I'm not sure who she is but thats nothing new. I'm happy for him, though I just wish we still talked to each other, he was a really good friend. *sigh*

after church we ate lunch dad took a few pictures and then we started on our way home. nothing overly exciting happened we saw alot of yellow cars and trucks (its a game Lee and I play) got home around 5 and Lee played Halo and i check my mail.

Now that I'm back home I'm back to playing the waiting game, and hoping to get work soon so I don't go mad. oh yea good times.

Excitment

Theres not much excitement around here now that its just me and Treep at home, but I'm excited to be going to visit mom and dad this weekend, I haven't seen them since Christmas and I've missed seeing them.

I got a new mouse yesterday b/c my old one i had the top was broken off the mouse it self so i got this little one, i hate having big mouses (i know its not a work but it sounded weird to say mice) b/c my hands are little most computer mouses are huge compared to my hands so i get small ones. for those of you who wanna know just how small it is 3.5(L) x 1.75(W) inches so pretty much the size of my palm :) I love it! the only thing i don't like about it is the pink color i would have liked it to be blue or something, I'm not really the pink color kinda girl but b/c i didn't really have a choice b/c it was the only one there i took it as is.

other then that not much excitement around here, as par usual i hope to have work soon so i don't lose my mind with boredom. oh i started making a scarf for Noelle to go with the hat i made the other day. not sure when she'll ever wear it but i wanted to make it anyway.

Noelle Marie Taylor

This is my little niece I finally got to met her this past Christmas, she was born Oct 17th 2007, on mom's birthday we got so many pictures of her but i can only fit so many on here so here are a few of my favorites. She is the cutest little girl ever

I love this picture the most b/c she's smiling at Lee, and the caption is b/c Christin blamed Lee for making a sound that dad did. and she had been talking to Noelle saying "did you hear what uncle lee did?" so from then on we just said "was that you uncle lee?"

i'm excited to have a niece but sad at the same time b/c i wont get to see her very often, b/c Dwayne and Christin live in California. i'll only be able to see her in pictures and videos. :(

but anyways she's our new addition to the family :)

updates

Alright i have a bit of updating to do. not that anyone reads this anyways but whatever.
Okay first off I worked at collideascope from sept 1 to Nov 27th, its was a ton of fun love clean up. After doing my cleanup test, Ron wanted me on Animation clean up b/c they were short people and he said it wasnt much different then background clean up. so i went for it, and it was fun, i was a bit scared at firt b/c i'd never done animation clean up. I worked on the show Johnny Test as you can see the picture they're not that hard of a design so they were easy to clean up. :)

I currently waiting for more work from the same studio, but we're playing the waiting game. I've been in E.I. since Christmas, it gets a little boring around here so Lee and i traded in quite a few of our games an two of our systems and got an Xbox 260, plus 5 games, an borrowing 3 games from a friend, But Lee just plays Halo online with whoever is on, boring. :p
I've played a few games, but that gets boring after a while too. I've decided to make birthday cards for peoples birthdays b/c i like doing it, so i made Dwayne and Darlene one for their Birthdays in April. I need to make a mothers day card for mom too. Its so much cheaper to make them then buy them anyway :) what else? oh I've been knitting, i made a little hat for my niece Noelle. i haven't sent it to here yet, b/c i just finished yesterday :) but i hope she'll like it.

Lee's working again so we're both happy about that, except not in stead of being bored with Lee I'm home alone bored with Treepy, but I'm still happy he's working. We're going to visit mom and dad this weekend an dim looking forward to that, i would like to stay longer but Lee wants me to come home with him, so I'll just have a longer visit when Lee gets too much work and doesn't come home as much. then he wont miss me so much, b/c of work :) or at least thats my plan :)

well that just about brings us up to date i think unless I'm forgetting something...
